City of Lathrop City Wide Clean-Up Day - Sat., Oct. 5
- Bulk items will be accepted at the City barn (101 Pine) with the exception of items classified as hazardous. For example, tires and chemicals will not be accepted. The clean-up is limited to residents of the City of Lathrop only.
IMPORTANT TRASH PICK-UP DATE INFORMATION:
- Monday, October 14th – there is no change in trash service for the Columbus Day Holiday.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL CITY WATER CUSTOMERS: Shut off day is always the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9:00am for bills not paid by the 15th of the month prior. Any payments made after 3:00pm on the aforementioned Shut Off Day will not be turned back on until following business day. A $35 late fee will be added to the amount past due for customers in the city limits. A $50 late fee will be added to amount past due for customers living outside city limits.

In the event of Tornado warning, The First Christian Church has graciously offered the basement under the old church as a storm shelter for those in need. In the event of a Tornado Warning, the on duty Police Officer will unlock the door to the basement on the Northwest side of the church. Once known as the Mule Capital of the World for shipping thousands of mules around the world during the Boer War and WWI, Lathrop, Mo. was born on the railroad, and survives on the interstate. Incorporated in 1867, Lathrop’s rich history is only matched by its bright future.

Ideally located just three miles off I-35 and Mo.
