NOTE:  Severe weather alerts are sent directly from the National Weather Service 24/7.
Do you have a news alert that needs to be sent out via text or email? An email address has been set up for just this purpose. Please send all Textcaster related emails to [email protected]. Please be sure to include in your email message:

  • The information that you want to include in your message.
  • Text messages can only be 100 characters total – this includes spaces.
  • Email messages are not limited on space and can include images.
  • The date and time (if applicable) that the message needs to be sent, messages will not be sent before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. CST. Messages sent on Saturdays and Sundays will need to be scheduled in advance.
  • Please include which group or list you would like the message to be sent to.
  • Messages can be scheduled up to one year in advance, if you are sending reminders of meetings or if you know your schedule of events, you can send a schedule and these can all be entered into the system to be scheduled at a later date.
